    Good education


    Ensure inclusive, fair and good education and
    promote opportunities for lifelong learning for all

    Romania


    Foundation Adina Romania (FAS) helps children of both sexes from kindergarten to upper secondary age with access to good education by supporting after-school activities, homework help, and transportation to and from distant schools.

    Uganda


    Adina Foundation Uganda (AFU) helps children of both sexes with access to good education while receiving treatment at the Lira Rehabilitation Center (LRC) and supports them with resources and help with access to local schools after receiving treatment.

    4.1 Free and equal schooling

    By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys complete free and equal, high-quality primary and secondary education that can provide them with a relevant and real learning outcome.

    Romania:
    Fundatia Adina Romania (FAS) helps children from kindergarten to high school age by supporting after school activities, homework help, and transportation to and from remote schools.

    Uganda:
    Adina Foundation Uganda has helped children during their treatment receive education at the Lira Rehabilitation Center (LRC) and receive resources and help with access to local schools after treatment at the LRC.

    4.3 Technical and vocational education

    By 2030, women and men will have equal access to good technical and vocational training and higher education, including university education, at an affordable price

    Romania:
    FAS prepares and challenges boys and girls to pursue all education and career opportunities together with after they complete primary school. The "Pupils to Employees" project places special focus on girls and women to strengthen their voices and thus opportunities for the right education and job.

    Uganda:
    I Uganda har vi et tett og langsiktig samarbeid med en yrkesskole i Lira, som fokuserer på håndverk og arbeidstrening. Mange av våre eldre ungdommer, som ikke har lyst eller anledning til å gå på vanlig skole, vil få tilbud om plass der.

    4.4 Competence in vocational subjects

    By 2030, achieve a significant increase in the number of young people and adults who have competence, including in technical subjects and vocational subjects, which are relevant for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship

    Romania:
    FAS prepares and challenges boys and girls to pursue all education and career opportunities together with after they complete primary school. The "Pupils to Employees" project places special focus on girls and women to strengthen their voices and thus opportunities for the right education and job.

    Uganda:
    AFU supports children in education at LRC and with access to primary school after they leave the center. Older children who are outside primary school age are offered vocational school education and are then equipped with tools in their special field.

    4.5 Eliminate gender differences

    Eliminate gender differences in education and training by 2030 and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, indigenous peoples and children in vulnerable situations

    Romania:
    FAS works to offer both girls and boys equal access to educational opportunities of all ages with a focus on preparation for opportunities after primary school. The project focuses on particularly vulnerable children and families together with Romanians.

    Uganda:
    AFU offers the same offer of help with education for girls and boys and offers vocational training for children outside primary school age. AFU's primary focus is to help children with disabilities.

    4.6 Reading and writing skills

    By 2030, ensure that all young people and a significant proportion of adults, both women and men, learn to read, write and count

    Romania:
    Fundatia Adina Romania (FAS)'s participation in the "Pupil to employees" project involves girls and women from 13-24 years old with a focus on strengthening their identity and then access to education and work.

    Uganda:
    Adina Foundation Uganda (AFU) organizes family groups for families of children who are treated by AFU and there they are trained in, among other things, literacy, simple accounting, and income-generating activities.

    Fundatia Adina Romania (FAS) sin deltagelse i «Pupil to employees» prosjektet involverer jenter og damer fra 13-24 år,  hvis fokus er  å bevisstgjøring og reflekstere over sin egen tilstedeværelse og identitet. Prosjektet har som målsetning å fremme den aktive yrkesdeltagelsen hos kvinner.
